This Privacy Policy describes The Governor’s Academy’s privacy practices applicable to your use of our website located at www.thegovernorsacademy.com (the “Website”), including how we collect and use personal data via the Website. By using our Website, you are consenting to our collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, in addition to accepting our Terms of Use.

 What This Privacy Policy Does and Does Not Cover

This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data collected by The Governor’s Academy via the Website.  This Privacy Policy specifically does not apply to personal data collected (1) by The Governor’s Academy offline or through any other means or (2) by third parties whose forms or other collection mechanisms may be embedded in or linked to from the Website (more information below).

Third-Party Forms

The Governor’s Academy uses third parties to perform certain functions involving the collection and processing of your information, including, by way of example only, processing donations and payments and collecting information from applicants and potential applicants.  Please be advised that certain forms incorporated into or accessible directly or indirectly from the Website allow third parties, such as a payment processor or a student information system software provider, to collect information.  Where such a form is incorporated into the Website, it will typically be accompanied by a link to the applicable third party’s privacy policy.  Although we make efforts to select reputable vendors and oversee their performance of their responsibilities, we do not control and are not responsible for their privacy policies and practices and recommend that you carefully review their privacy policies as they may differ from our own.

Collection of Personal Data

Through our Website, The Governor’s Academy may collect several types of personal data from and about you, such as your name, physical address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, education history, athletic and other extracurricular activity information, height, weight, credit card account and other payment information, and details regarding your usage of the Website.
