Govs International Student Association (ISA) curated and installed Your Exotic, My Familiar in Remis Lobby Gallery. The exhibition consists of paintings, prints, sculpture, and ceramics highlighting the international student experience. The leaders of this diverse organization state:
We come from different backgrounds, studying abroad in an unfamiliar environment far away from home. Our cultures and traditions are exotic to you; they seem interesting, but also distant and mysterious as if always covered by a veil. So here in our artwork, we invite you into our world to explore these important components of our life together.
