Govs International Student Association presents: Your Exotic, My Familiar

Govs International Student Association (ISA) curated and installed Your Exotic, My Familiar in the Remis Lobby Gallery. The exhibition consists of paintings, prints, sculptures, and ceramics, highlighting the international student experience. The leaders of this diverse organization state, "We come from different backgrounds, studying abroad in an unfamiliar environment far away from home. Our cultures and traditions are exotic to you; they seem interesting but also distant and mysterious, as if always covered by a veil. So here in our artwork, we invite you into our world to explore these important components of our lives together."

The show will run from October 11 through November 4 in the Remis Lobby in the Wilkie Center for the Performing Arts.
