Govs science teacher Bert McLain P'07,'09 believes that our brains could help explain why people disagree on politics and how ancient humans might have influenced today’s differing political beliefs. McLain, who recently completed her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in science writing and teaches Honors Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, AP Psychology, and an English elective in science writing, published an article in “Science News Explores” that explores how our brains and human evolution may have helped differing views persist over time.
