Happy New Year, Govs!

Happy New Year, Govs!

What a joyous beginning to the new school year! It has been inspiring to witness the enthusiasm for service as our students volunteered at several non-profits on the North Shore on Non Sibi Day, and shared a beautiful day outdoors full of adventure and team-building on Unity Day. Our students, faculty, and staff all played a part in making the opening of the school year a truly memorable experience for all.

The energy on campus and beyond has been infused with a strong sense of community and Govs pride. From the perfect weather and cheers ringing across the athletic fields, to the packed square dancing event, the epic Plum Plunge, and new friendships formed in advisories and Friday night at Mansion House— even the sore arms from kayaking — every moment has added up to a first week we won’t soon forget.

Our proctors and student leaders are already stepping up in remarkable ways, setting the tone for what promises to be a memorable and meaningful year.

The campus is alive with momentum, and the entire Govs community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents has all played a vital role in setting the stage for another successful chapter in our school’s story.

Here’s to an amazing year ahead!
