Players on the JV girls basketball team often come from a wide array of basketball experience - from those who have played on organized teams to those who are playing for the first time. Our goal is to improve everyone's overall skill and to make each member of the team a better basketball player as each season progresses. We work on techniques and skills so players will improve each year with the ultimate goal of achieving a position on the varsity team. We emphasize defense, endurance, dribbling, rebounding, and shooting. At times, we break up by position in order to focus on improving skills specific to those positions. On game day, every member of the team sees playing time so that they can further increase their ability with actual game experience. We work hard, but we also have fun while we're at it.
