CHUCK DAVIS ’67
Charles A. Davis is the CEO of Stone Point Capital LLC, a private equity firm with over $45 billion of assets under management, that focuses on investments in the global financial services industry.
Davis has over 50 years of experience in the industry, including 23 years at Goldman Sachs where he held several senior leadership positions culminating in serving as Head of Investment Banking Services Worldwide. Davis currently serves as a director of AXIS Capital Holdings and The Progressive Corporation. Davis sat on The Hershey Company Board of Directors for 14 years, including serving as the company’s chairman.
Davis is also the founder and director of the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation. He has been recognized as one of the Financial Times "2018 Outstanding Directors." A 1967 graduate of Governor Dummer Academy, Davis is also a graduate of University of Vermont, where he was a two sport All Conference athlete and an inductee in the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame. Davis holds an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the academic honor society.
