Industry-specific Assistance

Would you like to help guide the next generation of graduates?The Alumni Council is seeking volunteers to support our younger alumni as they navigate their early career paths through two exciting new initiatives:

1. Career Coaching and Interview Preparation Join a dedicated network of experienced alumni helping college-aged Govs graduates build strong resumes, refine their professional skills, and gain confidence as they enter the workforce. Mentoring connections take place via email or Zoom, making it easy to offer meaningful support from anywhere while guiding younger alumni through their early-career journeys.

2. Career Conversations and Networking EventsWe’re also planning small, career-focused gatherings where alumni can connect in person. Held over lunch or at your workplace, these events are designed to fit your schedule and reflect your area of expertise. The Academy’s Advancement Office will manage all outreach and logistics, making participation simple and seamless.
