Application Process

We understand that the process of researching, visiting, and applying to schools can be at the same time exciting and stressful. We hope that the process will allow you to reflect upon your values, academic interests, extracurricular passions, and life ambitions.

If Govs sounds like a place where you could see yourself, your first step is to fill out our inquiry form. After you have completed our online inquiry form, you will receive an email with a link to our Admission Portal and your user name. If you have a domestic mailing address, keep an eye out for a viewbook in your mailbox. If you have an international mailing address, you will receive a link to our digital viewbook.

After you have completed our inquiry form, we encourage you to schedule a visit to our campus for a tour and interview. Your student-led tour is an opportunity to see our beautiful campus and ask questions about life at Govs. It will be followed by your interview with a member of our Admission Team. For applicants for the fall of 2022, we are offering both in-person and virtual interviews. Please call 978.499.3120 or email to schedule your interview.

We will be test optional for the SSAT for applicants for the fall of 2023, and we strongly encourage international applicants who have studied in a non-English language to submit a TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo result, unless it is impractical or unsafe to do so. For those who do submit standardized testing, we will accept any form of the SSAT or ISEE tests. Please direct any testing questions to Sarah Powers at
