What I find remarkable about Governor's is its blend of stability and restlessness. The students here arrive excited to become a part of this extended family, and they appreciate the chance to both engage in those areas of personal strength and immerse in the pursuit of finding out what else they may be good at while here without fear of failure. It is a wonderfully optimistic place for all of us.

A thirty-plus year veteran of independent boarding schools, Mike has done it all. He has taught history, served as a dorm parent and head, coached at all levels in all seasons and for both genders, advised students, been an Athletic Director, run a financial aid office, and directed academic and athletic summer programs. His experience with all aspects of life at a boarding school gives him a unique perspective to share what truly makes Govs special with prospective parents and students.
