Intro to Fine Arts: Studio Art
(9) A basic art course, covering drawing techniques, an introduction to color, and various types of media
Intro / Intermediate Studio Art
(10, 11, 12) These are courses focused on basic and more advanced design concepts, drawing techniques, color theory, and the application of a variety of media.
Painting & Printmaking
(10, 11, 12) Students work with acrylic, oils, watercolor, and sumie, as well as silkscreen, embossing, linoleum block, and etching.
A.P. Studio Art
(11, 12) Students who wish to study art in college take Advanced Placement Studio Art, where they focus on 3D and 2D, with a concentration in design or drawing/painting.
Architecture Course
Architecture Studio
(10, 11, 12) Covers the basics of architectural drafting and culminates in 3-D constructions of students' drawings, which are then placed on display in the Carl Youngman gallery.
