African American Experience - The history and culture of African Americans, as well as the greater Black Diaspora.

American Government - Information on all three branches.

American Indian Experience - Precontact early Native America through modern native nations and sovereignty.

Boston Globe - Comprehensively indexed (different sections of the paper, companies, people, products, obituaries, etc.).  Dates covered include 1872-present.

CQ Researcher Plus Archive - Provides original comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news from 1923 to the present.

eLibrary - Provides articles from magazines, newspapers, newswires, TV and radio transcripts.

eLibrary Science - Science content and tools along with unique video.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online - Articles, journal articles, and websites from Encyclopedia Britannica.

Infotrac - Provides access to periodicals, scholarly journals, encyclopedias, and newspapers.

Issues & Controversies in American History - In-depth explorations on issues, includes primary source documents, timelines, biographies, images, historical texts, interviews, and more.

Issues: Understanding Controversy and Society - Perspectives and analysis of current issues in our society.

JSTOR Early Journal Content - published prior to 1923 in the U.S. and prior to 1870 elsewhere, free of charge. Articles from 200+ journals in arts, humanities, economics, politics, mathematics, and other sciences. Check the box for “Include only content I can access” below the Advanced Search box and click “Search”.

The Latino American Experience - A full text database focusing on the history and culture of Latinos in the United States.

New York Times - 1980-present New York Times and 1985-present New York Times Magazine.

Opposing Viewpoints - Provides information on today's social issues. Features viewpoint articles and topic overviews in a wide variety of formats.

Oxford English Dictionary - The OED covers words from across the English speaking world.

Science Reference Center - Books, magazines, academic journals, and newspaper articles on topics in science.

Sharpe Online Reference - Encyclopedia articles, an image gallery, primary documents, foreign perspectives on the United States, web links, and teacher’s resources on early America, economic history, Ancient and Modern worlds, conflicts, global history, terrorism, and world trade.

U.S. History in Context - Provides full-text journal and reference articles covering themes, events, individuals and periods in U.S. history from pre-Colonial times to the present.

World History in Context - A comprehensive collection of publications and research materials for the study of world history; from ancient Europe to Latin America and from the Far East to the Renaissance.

World History: Ancient and Medieval Eras - Early human history around the globe from prehistoric times to the beginnings of the Renaissance.

World History: The Modern Era -  Emergence of the modern world, from ca. 1500 onwards

World at War: Understanding Conflict and Society - From Ancient Greece through the present.
