The Governor’s Academy provides a unique educational experience offering challenges for its students both in and out of the classroom. In this accepting environment, students are willing to try new things, often discovering hidden talents along the way.

Shaping Citizen Leaders Since 1763

On a campus where accountability and responsibility are still part of the unwritten curriculum, our students live out concepts of leadership. They find the courage to take risks- and the wisdom to learn from their mistakes. Through it all, they gain confidence in who they are - and the citizen leaders they can be. Whether it's contributing to cancer research or volunteering for the Special Olympics, our students put the needs of the wider world before their own.
