Nationally acclaimed author, Dennis Lehane will visit the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday May 1, 2012. The event begins at 7:00PM and all members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend. The event is also open to the public free of charge. Lehane will speak about his experiences as a writer, read from some of his works and take questions from audience members. At the end of the evening Mr. Lehane will be signing books.
Lehane is the author of nine novels, three of which have been made into major motion pictures. His work includes the New York Times bestsellers Moonlight Mile; Gone, Baby, Gone; Mystic River; Shutter Island; and The Given Day, as well as Coronado, a collection of short stories and a play.
