On display in the Peter Remis Lobby Gallery at the Preforming Arts Center is: Colors of the Imagination: An exhibit of photographs by Brigitte Carnochan. The exhibit will be on display through March 2, 2012.
A reception will be
held Friday, January 13th, from 6 - 8pm and the public is welcome at this event.
Brigitte Carnochan immigrated to America from Germany at the age of six and has spent her life engaged in dance,gardening, teaching and photography. Her hand-colored gelatin silver photographs have earned her worldwide respect and have been exhibited at galleries and museums nationally and internationally. Teaching workshops and giving university lectures has been a regular part of her life for the past decade. She is the recipient of numerous awards and is currently a board member of the Santa Fe Center for Photography. Brigitte lives in Portola Valley, California, a town located in the coastal hills south of San Francisco.
