The Performing Arts Center

gr-pac-collage

The last building at the end of Elm Street, with its board-and-batten siding and large front porch, resembles a preserved agricultural building from bygone days. However, the structure was built in 2001 to house our Performing Arts Center (nicknamed "PAC"). This building is the hub of performing arts activity on campus.

PAC Stats at a Glance

490-seat theater, with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems

In addition to the performances of our students, our PAC hosts several guest performers on stage throughout the course of the year.

Kaiser Visual Arts Center

Originally known as "The Stone Garage," this facility was first used to house the Academy automobile at the turn of the 20th century (note we said "the" automobile)!  The Kaiser Visual Arts Center is the heart of visual arts activity. Kaiser houses separate studios for each of the four major disciplines: ceramics, photography, film, and painting/drawing, all of which are available throughout the week and weekend so that students may continue to explore their talents during off-hours.  The Carl Youngman Gallery offers an intimate space for student and guest art exhibits.

The Moseley Chapel

Although it looks like an old New England meetinghouse, circa 1800, the Moseley Chapel was actually built in 1965.  Our beautiful chapel is the setting for very special musical events, including our annual Candlelight Service in December and formal student recitals.
